The Highest Scorers In Fantasy Premier League History

Published 2025-08-14 by Rolf H

The 2025-26 Premier League season promises to be an exciting one with many questions to be answered. Will Arne Slot’s dream first year as Liverpool’s manager continue or was it a flash in the pan?

Can Manchester United turn things around both financially and on the pitch?

And will the teams promoted from the Championship defy the odds and stay up at the end of the season?

The arrival of the new season also sees the millions of fantasy premier league players around the world putting their squads together, hoping that they’ll improve on their 2024-25 numbers.

Many also like to place a bet or two on the outcome of games featuring chosen players in their fantasy teams. Some even take the chance to explore free spins no deposit Ireland casinos in the hope that they’ll strike it lucky there too.

Over the years there have been some incredible point scores notched up by individuals and maybe this season will see another name added to this list, or even its current leader Mo Salah continuing to dominate.

The Highest Scorers In Fantasy Premier League History

Harry Kane 2022-23 263 points 30 goals 9 assists

Harry Kane showed a great deal of consistency over the years that he played for Spurs so it’s no big surprise that he makes the list. With 30 goals and 9 assists this was certainly a great season personally for him. But the poor general performance of his team was instrumental in the England team captain’s decision to head to Bayern Munich in search of more trophies and greater league success too.

Erling Haaland 2022-23 272 points 36 goals 9 assists

The same season also proved to be a very good one for the Norwegian international and Manchester super striker Erling Haaland. His 36 goals put him firmly ahead of Kane with the same number of assists. This was his first season with the club and he set about breaking records straight away. He became the first ever player in Premier League history to score a hat trick of hat tricks going on to take the title for most goals ever scored by one player in a Premier League season.

Thierry Henry 2002-03 273 points 24 goals 20 assists

Few players have dominated the Premier League quite as effectively as Thierry Henry did in the golden years when he played for Arsenal. Over quite a few seasons he was the top points scorer so was a highly valued addition to any fantasy team – and was correspondingly expensive. Over the same period in the early noughties the only serious competition he received was from fellow Arsenal striker Robert Pires. But Henry’s record number of assists always gave him the edge.

Cristiano Ronaldo 2007-08 283 points 31 goals 6 assists

The famously superstitious Portuguese superstar may be earning a fortune over in Saudi Arabia now. But back in the day he was putting in some amazing performances for Manchester United. One of the very first players to score more than 30 goals in a season, this was all the more remarkable as he played not as a striker but as a midfielder. The fact that he was only on the pitch for a total of 2,746 minutes that season makes his achievement all the more remarkable.

Frank Lampard 2009-10 284 points 22 goals 14 assists

Possibly England’s only player with a qualification in Latin, Frank Lampard’s contemporaries included Stephen Gerrard and Paul Scholes. There was much debate about which was the best of the three. But, on paper at least, the Chelsea player gets the title. The 2009-10 season was his undoubted high point at the club. Of the 36 games he played in he either scored or assisted in ever single one of them.

Luis Suarez 2013-14 295 points 31 goals 25 assists

We’re finishing with two Liverpool players with Luis Suarez as the first of them. The 2013-14 season is all the more remarkable for the player as he was suspended for the first five matches.

The fact that penalty taking duties were denied him with Stephen Gerrard scoring ten from a possible eleven over the season means that if he had been given the chance he might have topped the 40 goal mark for the first time ever.

Mo Salah 2024- 25 344 points 29 goals 18 assists

Who else but Liverpool’s star Egyptian player could top the all-time list of FPL points scorers? Last season was the second time that he crashed through the 300 points barrier. Ther was a great deal of uncertainty about whether he would be staying at the club for the 2025-26 season. But the good news that he is – and there’s every chance that he’ll improve still further on his incredible points tally.

So, we’ll just have to wait and see.
